Taman Sepadu in Gelugor, Penang, is a neighbourhood of residential homes and commercial shop-lots. The residences are comprised of terrace, semi-detached homes. Both residential and commercial titles come in single-storey and double-storey types. Properties within Taman Sepadu are sized at a minimum 1,450 sf with subsale prices of around RM250,000. Most of the homes and shop-lots are occupied, which explains the scarce availability of units for rent. Residents of Taman Sepadu enjoy the convenience of having eateries and convenient stores within the neighbourhood’s shop-lots themselves. Hence, residents need not go far for simple errands. There is also a bank and a school, SJK(C) Lee Chee within the perimeters of Taman Sepadu. Taman Sepadu is about a 20 minutes’ journey to the town of Butterworth via the Butterworth Outer Ring Road while the Penang bridge is about 30 minutes from the neighbourhood by the North-South Expressway (NSE).
