Kemuning Utama is a residential self-contained township located within Kemuning in Shah Alam with high rise and landed properties, and is accessible through several highways. Built on filled land, land subsidence was a concern of the original buyers who were worried about finding hairline cracks on their homes, but were reluctant to pass up the chance to purchase a home in an obviously upcoming area. Kemuning Utama is believed to have over-projected its population of more than 32,000 upon completion of its entire residential components. Situated adjacent to other established townships such as Kota Kemuning, Bukit Rimau, and Alam Impian, there are already current developments taking place such as the Damai Residences, Indah Residences, Prima Impian and Indah Elite, but there is still room for future upcoming developments which at the moment includes more high rise properties.
