Old Klang Road is one of the oldest and most historically-significant roads in Kuala Lumpur. Several decades ago, it was the only link between Kuala Lumpur and Port Klang. It’s position as a mature neighbourhood on the fringe of the city area ticks many boxes for both home occupiers and investors. In addition to this, it can also boast its proximity to the integrated Mid Valley development and the KL Sentral transport hub. Recent developments have been mostly high rises, given the scarcity of land for residential. According to Knight Frank Malaysia, the new developments have been well received by the younger market who favour amenities to built up area, and are perhaps looking to branch out from the parental home.
