Taman Rinting is a township located in Johor Bahru, Johor. Established in 1982, the town got a boost in value when the Johor Bahru East Coast Highway opened in 2010, passing through it. Today, the township has developed into a full-fledged township, with an industrial area, shopping amenities like the Mydin Mall, as well as shop offices and eateries surrounding the mall.

For primary level education, residents can choose from educational facilities like the SK Taman Rinting 1, SK Taman Rinting 2 and SK Taman Rinting 3. For secondary education, there is the SMK Taman Rinting 2 in the township itself. The next nearest schools – SMK Dato Penggawa Timur and SMK Seri Kota Puteri – are still less than 10 minutes away in the neighbouring towns of Bandar Baru Seri Alam and Taman Megah Ria.

Within other nearby satellite towns like Bandar Sri Alam and Masai, there are even more facilities to be found. These include a Today’s Market mall and a Tesco hypermarket. The Regency Specialist Hospital is also less than 2km away from the township.

Getting in and out of Taman Rinting is easy. It is situated between two parallel thoroughfares of the state: Johor Bahru East Coast Highway (also known as Johor Bahru-Pasir Gudang Highway) and Lebuhraya Pasir Gudang (Federal Route 17). Both of these highways are connected by Jalan Rinting. These routes make it easy to travel to and from Pasir Gudang and Johor Bahru, which are just about 7km and 10km away respectively.
