Eco Botanic is a luxury gated township in Skudai, Johor – part of the Iskandar Malaysia Flagship Zone B. The development is next to the EduCity project that will consist of renowned schools like the University of Southampton, Newcastle University of Medicine Malaysia and Raffles University Iskandar when it is completed in 2025.

During Phase 1 of the Eco Botanic development, The Verandah Collection was launched, comprising the Retreat series, Entertainment series and Luxury series. The first series consists of The Davenham (32 ft x 70 ft) and The Featherstone (35 ft x 70 ft), while The Aldingham (32 ft x 80 ft) and the Coleshill (35 ft x 80 ft), as well as The Eastwell (40 ft x 80 ft) and The Greenlands (40 ft x 80 ft) make up the Entertainment series and the Luxury series respectively.

To reduce the homes’ impact on the environment, they were designed with eco-conscious details like tall windows to minimize the need for electric lighting during the day, high ceilings to increase natural ventilation, a rainwater harvesting system and solar panels to further conserve energy. Meanwhile, jogger trails, maze gardens, steel sculptures, lake pavilions and green parks, in addition to a clubhouse, enhance the livability and pleasantness of the Eco Botanic neighbourhood.

Phase 2 of Eco Botanic - The Château, offers 3 designs of 2.5-storey homes inspired by English country homes. Two of them are super-link houses, The Grassten (26 ft x 75 ft) and The Laeken (28 ft x 75 ft), while the other – The Sandringham, is a 42 ft x 80 ft semi-detached unit. A unique feature of The Château homes’ design is a basement level with covered garage for better protection of private vehicles and an additional storage space.

Other projects within the township include Eco Nest, a luxurious serviced apartment with over 450 units ranging from 1-bedroom units of 582 sf to 4-bedroom units of 1,335 sf. Other than first-class recreational facilities like a gymnasium and a 50m lap pool, the serviced apartment also houses retail stores and offices, ensuring that residents are within walking distance of essential conveniences.

Yet another Eco Botanic project, Eco Boulevard, consists of three-storey shop offices. The project is inspired by the concept of classy shopping streets of European towns and the architecture of English colonial buildings. When completed, it will have sidewalk cafes, elevated dining terraces and fashion boutiques, as well as other interesting speciality stores.

In terms of connectivity, Johor Bahru, Medini Iskandar and even Singapore are easily accessible, making Eco Botanic a great option for those who want to live within a reasonable distance of these places.
