Bandar Utama is an affluent township situated in the subdivision of Damansara and is part of the Petaling district. It hosts the popular One Utama, the 10th biggest shopping mall in the world.

Bandar Utama is split into two parts by the Sprint Expressway and combined into one town by a bridge. It is neighboured by other famous townships such as Kota Damansara and Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI). Spanning over 1,000 acres, Bandar Utama started development in the 1990s under See Hoy Chan Holdings Sdn. Bhd.. It was formerly filled with oil palm estates and eventually transformed into one of the most sought-after addresses in PJ.

Properties here are mostly freehold and offer a huge variety for investors and homeowners. The township’s population grew rapidly when One Utama and TV3’s broadcast centre first opened in 1995 and 1996.

Here, you are spoiled with options to feed your shopping needs. One Utama itself has 700+ shops to explore endlessly. Other than that, the neighbourhood is surrounded by malls such as Centrepoint Bandar Utama, Ikano Power Centre, The Curve and IKEA. There are loads of good food too. One of them is the Extra Super Tanker, a high-end Chinese restaurant serving exquisite dishes that became the talk of the town.

You may access the township via SPRINT Highway, Damansara-Puchong Highway (LDP), New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and Penchala Link. The high accessibility is another reason why many consider this area to be a great investment.

Bandar Utama is a hotspot for the younger generation that seek an urban lifestyle. It is suitable for high-income residents who want to indulge in the luxuries of city life.
