The Real Estate and Housing Developers Association (REHDA) institution Malaysia in collaboration with GreenRE, will be hosting a sustainable built environment focused forum dubbed Green Build Conference 2019, Building a Sustainable Future.

The highly anticipated event will oversee the participation of international and world-renowned influential individuals that are industry experts hailing from Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and from our very own nation who have made an impact in the sustainable real estate industry.

The one-day insightful event will poise as an exciting platform for knowledge expansion held at the One World Hotel, Petaling Jaya from 8.00am till 5.00pm on the 27th of June, 2019. The event will showcase new strategies, the latest cutting-edge innovations as well as invaluable insights to ensure a cleaner and greener environment worldwide despite the extremities and fluctuations of the weather.

With climate change having an undeniable impact on the way we plan and manage cities, buildings and construction projects will need to take into account all available technologies and best practices to ensure a cleaner and greener environment, thus the event is vital for the sharing and exchange of ideas with regard to global sustainability solutions by industry leaders.

Some of the key topics that would be discussed during the event include Building a Case for Building Green - in which industry experts would share about the drivers and policies influencing the future of green buildings in Malaysia and Asia, Green Financing & Sustainability Reporting - whereby speakers would examine the challenges for green financing as well as sustainability reporting and how it can be used as a tool to drive strategy and innovation as well as Policy to Practice Case Studies - featuring inspiring real-life projects and applications highlighting different approaches to green building design.

It is also mentioning that the event will present a seasoned list of representatives from across the globe from leading organisations such as Jonas Bengtsson, Edge Environment Australia, Yvonne Soh, Singapore Green Building Council, Samantha Allen, WELL Faculty International Well Building Faculty (IWBI) Asia and Dave Mackerness, Kaer Pte Ltd.
