This November, Tropicana Foundation, the charity arm of Tropicana Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana”) reached out to PAWS Animal Welfare Society (“PAWS”) in Petaling Jaya and Sai Pandian Children Home in Setia Alam.

Volunteers from Tropicana Foundation reached out to PAWS earlier this month and donated pet food as well as contributed their time to walk and wash the dogs, clean cages and more. During Deepavali, the Tropicana Golf & Country Resort (“TGCR”) team represented the Tropicana Foundation and donated food, cash and Deepavali red packets for the 24 kids at Sai Pandian Children Home.

The two events wrapped up Tropicana’s charity initiatives in November, bringing joy and support for both children and pets. Dion Tan, Group Managing Director of Tropicana, summed up these positive engagements in one sentence, “As a community builder, it is our lifetime commitment to extend our support and spread happiness to the underprivileged community – be it children, adults or even pets.”

PAWS and Sai Pandian are non-profit associations that welcome all forms of donations – from cash and dry goods to pre-loved items.

Established since 2011, Tropicana Foundation engages with and uplifts underprivileged society, while addressing social and environmental issues. Since its inception, the Foundation has channelled more than RM26 million towards charitable causes around Malaysia.
