Nasa City is a 294-acre integrated development in Johor Bahru, the state capital of Johor. A joint venture product between two Malaysian property developers, the sprawling project is just 300m from the North-South Expressway, and no more than 10km to three other major highways in Johor, namely the Pasir Gudang Highway, Eastern Dispersal Link Highway (EDL) and the Johor Bahru East Coast Highway.
A little further away between 17km to 20km from Nasa City, is the Senai-Desaru Expressway, Johor Bahru East Coast Parkway, Iskandar Coastal Highway and the Second Link Expressway, while the Senai International Airport is a 23km drive away. This busy network of roads leads to Singapore and most major cities in Johor.
During the first phase of the development, the 428-unit Centara Residences was introduced. Construction of the twin towers with 25 storeys each is targeted to finish in 2017. Designs offered include Type A, a 786 sf 2-bedroom unit with 1 bathroom, Type B1, a 3-bedroom and 2-bathroom unit with a built-up area of 1,012 sf, Type C1 with 3+1 rooms and 2 bathrooms and Type D, which has a built-up area of 1,690 sf, 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a study area and maid’s room.
With the exception of Type D, the other designs come with a compact one-wall kitchen leading to a yard-cum-wet kitchen. Type D has a full-fledged dry kitchen and wet kitchen, as well as a private foyer and panoramic 270-degree views of the city from various spaces around the unit.
Leisure facilities provided for the residents of Centara Residences include pools, a playground, gymnasium and gardens. Those who would like to venture beyond Nasa City for their recreational activities will be glad to know that within a radius of 15 km, there are at least six golf courses and country clubs for their choosing.
Other nearby amenities include the upcoming KPJ Bandar Dato’ Onn Specialist Hospital just 2.5km away and AEON Bandar Dato Onn, as well as the Fairview International School and KFCH International College. When Nasa City is fully completed, it will also feature a retail mall, corporate offices and a variety of eateries, taking advantage of the development’s position in an important catchment area of Johor.
