Bandar Saujana Utama is a mixed township in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. Within Bandar Saujana Utama, there are several neighbourhoods, such as Castana, Mastana and Sungai Buloh Country Resort. Properties within include terraces, semi-detacheds, bungalows, apartments, as well as commercial shops and offices. Most properties within Bandar Saujana Utama begin from sizes of 1,100 sf and above, while the newer developments like the Sinar terraces are spacious, with each of the double-storey homes totalling to 1,730 sf in built-up size. The Sinar 2 development terrace homes are even larger, with sizes ranging between 2,213 sf to 2,402 sf. The Warisan 2-storey bungalows were also built more recently, and are sizeable at 2,700 sf. Facilities at Bandar Saujana Utama include children’s playgrounds and basic conveniences like covered parking lots. Given its long-time establishment and large population, the township also has a good number of amenities within. These include a Giant hypermarket, the Saujana Utama Mall, and Central Market Saujana Utama. Schools are also aplenty within and nearby Bandar Saujana Utama, such as SMK Saujana Utama, SRK Saujana Utama, SRK Merbau Sempak, SRK Seri Pristana and SK Kampong Subang. Higher education institutions namely UiTM Puncak Perdana, Universiti Teknologi Mara Puncak Alam (UiTM), Universiti Selangor as well as UiTM Shah Alam are within short distance of the township. Other amenities a quick drive away are Hospital Sungai Buloh and the Shah Alam stadium. Accessibility wise, Bandar Saujana Utama is located about 30 minutes to KL city, Shah Alam, and Petaling Jaya. The township enjoys access to the North-South Expressway (NSE), the KL-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR), Guthrie Corridor Expressway, the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and the Federal Highway. Other major roads nearby are Jalan Meru Tambahan and Jalan Batu Arang. Bandar Saujana Utama is still a considerably affordable place to buy a property, with launching prices of newer developments beginning from RM410,000. Other properties which have been around longer can be found on the subsale market for prices of about RM335,000 while rental is about RM1,000 per month.
