Desa Bayan, set in the large township of Sungai Ara, is a five-block, 18-storey freehold apartment complex completed in 2005. Desa Bayan is near to main roads like Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Jalan Tun Dr Awang and Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim, which lead to other parts of Sungai Ara, Bayan Lepas, Relau and Bukit Jambul, eventually joining the Jelutong Expressway. Buses 302 and 308 pass by Jalan Dato Ismail Hashim, reachable through a short walk from the apartment.
