Bandar Putra is a 6,500-acre integrated freehold township in Johor's Senai-Kulai district. A gated and guarded development by one of Malaysia's eminent developers, it sits about 29km and 34km respectively to Johor Bahru and the Woodland/Tuas checkpoints leading to Singapore, making it moderately convenient to get to these places.
For people who work in Senai and Kulai, however, Bandar Putra is very near to the Senai International Airport – just about 9km, or 15 minutes. This is beneficial for transport and logistics purposes, especially for commercial and industrial businesses in the township.
Within Bandar Putra, there are several types of residential, commercial and industrial developments. The residential developments include the 21-storey serviced apartment of D’Putra Suites, the Bougain Villa golf view bungalows, Phoenix 2 double-storey link bungalows, Vienna and GolfVue 2 double-storey semi-detached homes, Clover double-storey cluster homes, Celeste, Acacia and Alpinia double-storey link houses and the Verana 1 & 2 single-storey link houses.
Commercial developments, on the other hand, include the Vantage 3, Empire and Eminence commercial lots, which can be used as offices, retail shops, showrooms or eateries, as well as the Niagaputra 1-storey shop offices. There are many different types of basic amenities in Bandar Putra, making it a mostly self-sufficient township. For example, it is just a 5-minute walk (or 2-minute drive) to IOI Mall Kulai, one of the main shopping centres in the area. The nearest schools include the Bandar Putra Millenium School and the Seri Temasik School – both within the township. And for leisure, residents can head to Hutan Bandar Putra, and enjoy the use of its amphitheatre, jogging and cycling tracks, playgrounds and pavilion.
Convenient as Bandar Putra’s location is, however, you’ll probably need to have your own car when staying here, as there are no bus stations and other public transport options in the vicinity.
