Ampang Centre Point is a commercial development in Ipoh’s Taman Ampang Jaya neighbourhood, a matured neighbourhood bordered by two main roads, Jalan Raja Musa Mahadi and Jalan Tambun Baru. The latter intersects Jalan Tambun in Tambun, which in turn leads to Sunway City Ipoh.

Ampang Centre Point’s hypermarket and shops will also potentially attract customers from the schools around the area, for example SK Raja Chulan, SJK (C) Min Sin, Politeknik Ungku Omar, SK Wira Jaya and SMK Wira Jaya, as well as local government buildings like Institut Tadbiran Islam Perak, Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia and Kompleks Bersepadu Kementerian Komunikasi dan Multimedia.
