Rivere Garden is a neighbourhood of landed homes recently established in Seberang Perai, Penang. Completed in 2014, the development consists of terraces and semi-detacheds in a quiet part of the mainland.

The homes of Rivere Garden are sizeable, with the Porto Vecchio double-storey terraces ranging between the sizes of 2,214 sf to 2,626 sf. The homes are ideally designed for families, with 4+1 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.

The semi-detached units are also family-oriented, all 3-storeys in height with 2 variants to choose from. The Saint Tropez is the smaller of the two, with built-ups of between 2,933 sf and 3,070 sf with a 4+2 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms layout. The larger variant is the Cote D’Azur, with 4,807 sf of built-up space along with 4+3 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

Though the homes are slightly narrow, they are designed with a long porch able to fit 2 cars as well as tall ceilings, making up for the otherwise too cramped homes. As such, the land spaces of the semi-detacheds are also much narrower and longer compared to other conventional semi-detached homes.

Amenities are located within an acceptable distance from Rivere Garden, though they may not be within walking distance. A short drive to Jalan Permatang Pauh, the nearest main road to the development, will present a good selection of conveniences like eateries, a petrol station, clinic, and a school, SK Permatang To’ Kandu. Apart from that, the AEON BiG Penang Prai is also just about 5 minute’s drive away, where a post office and even more amenities can be found. Other than that, Magamall Pinang is also under 10 minutes’ drive from the neighbourhood.

Rivere Gardens is situated appropriately for family-living, with a number of schools all within a few minutes’ drive from the homes. These include SMK Seberang Perai 2, SMK Tun Hussein Onn 2, and SK Seberang Jaya among others. The Seberang Jaya Hospital is also located not too far off should there be need for emergency medical attention.

Accessibility wise, Rivere Garden is located off Jalan Permatang Pauh, which leads to Bukit Tengah southwards before linking to Jalan Baru. From there, the town of Seberang Perai is about 5 minutes up Jalan Baru while access to the North-South Expressway (NSE) is also enabled through the route. Lebuhraya Butterworth-Kulim is also accessible via Jalan Permatang Pauh, northwards of it.
