City of Elmina is a township located beside Denai Alam, spanning over 5,000 acres of land and featuring a 300-acre central park which will be connected to a forest reserve. The City of Elmina is part of the Selangor Vision City (SVC), amongst which the other developments include Bukit Subang which spans 250 acres and Denai Alam of 1,000 acres.

This upcoming township will feature good connectivity to highways, as well as to the matured townships of Damansara and Petaling Jaya, especially if the proposed Damansara - Shah Alam Highway (DASH) goes through. The proposed DASH Highway is also purported to connect Elmina to the Penchala Link upon its completion. The upcoming MRT station in Sungai Buloh on the Sungai Buloh - Kajang line will be situated close to the township as well.

The west of the City of Elmina which is otherwise known as Elmina West was sold to Eastern & Oriental (E&O) in September 2013, a premium lifestyle property developer, to develop approximately 135 acres of land. The land is to be transformed into a wellness-themed commercial and lifestyle residential development. The entirety of the City of Elmina is estimated to be completed by the year 2037.
