Taman Yarl is a well-established township located at the borders of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. It is mainly developed with a combination of landed and high rise properties, from terrace and semi-detached homes to apartments and condominiums, with most of the developments being decades old.
A popular landmark of this township is the Plaza OUG, followed by the morning and night markets in the area. Due to its highly established township status, the amenities and facilities are conveniently accessed by the residents, such as educational institutions, sundry shops, and eating outlets, shopping malls, hotels, medical centres, commercial centres, banks, and a wet market. There is even a water park nearby, and within driving distance is Kuala Lumpur’s largest shopping centre, the Mid Valley Megamall.
The property and commercial development condition in Taman Yarl has already reached its peak and has experienced a steady and positive growth in the past few years. However, due to the availability of new products in the market, the existing developments are facing stiff competition. Taman Yarl is already an established and rather crowded township with many aged properties, but because of its great location, facilities, and living environment, there is still a chance for future development for high rises.
Access to the township is made possible via the Old Klang Road, Shah-Alam Expressway (KESAS), and Jalan Puchong. Currently, the most accessible public transport is the nearest Sri Petaling LRT station. Several other LRT stations are under construction at the moment, with plans to have the lines extended towards Puchong, Subang Jaya, and Kelana Jaya.
