About Jinjang
Initially developed to be a segregated village for the Chinese ethnic group from communists influences in the earlier years of Malaysia, Jinjang is a densely populated town located on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur.
Jinjang is primarily separated into two sections called Jinjang North and Jinjang South. Located within minutes from Kuala Lumpur, Jinjang is still predominantly occupied by the Chinese ethnic group. As it is a matured establishment, amenities are aplenty within Jinjang.
Despite being plagued with gangsterism at one point in time, it has been reported that it is now rather safe although occasional cases of fights and beatings are still reported from time to time.
Recently, it was reported in the newspapers that there will be major development in Jinjang South which will leave several hundred people homeless. However, they will in turn be offered low-cost houses to replace those affected by development.
