The Met is a new prestigious corporate tower part of the 75.5-acre mixed development KL Metropolis project, which is located in Jalan Duta (now known as Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim), Kuala Lumpur. Developed by Triterra, in collaboration with Naza TTDI, the property is said to be meeting the demand for new office space within the matured Mont Kiara's vicinity. This upcoming leasehold commercial property consist of 2 towers - a 42-storey Tower A and a 30-storey Tower B. The levels within Tower A are divided into three categories - Prestige (upper floors), Premier (middle floors) and Executive (lower floors). The units’ built-up sizes range from 818 sf to 16,104 sf, catering businesses from the SMEs to MNCs segments. Meanwhile, Tower B houses units with size ranging from 915 sf to 2,368 sf. There are 488 units in total, with 1,208 carparks and 300 motorcycle bays. Design wise, every component of The Met has human-focused approach. It has 3.6m ceiling height, with beam-free design system, 23-passenger lifts with destination control system, grand lobby featuring 10m high ceilings, curtain wall building facade for Tower A, individual pantry points for units, toilet points for units size 1,500 sf and above, 0.5 acres of landscape and green areas, as well as visitor management system. Apart from that, The Met will also be providing top-notch facilities like gym and recreational centre, business theatre and auditorium, business centre, glass box function hall and even a child care area. There will also be premium food court and F&B retails to cater to tenants' need. Just to highlight, it is also a Green Building Index (GBI) certified building with rainwater harvesting system. Security wise, tenants do not have to worry because The Met has enhanced safety features with its turnstile security lift barriers and CCTV system. Set to be completed in 2021, the developer is targeting to sell both towers to a single buyer at a selling price not more than RM900 psf, which was claimed to be reasonable in today’s market value, based on Knight Frank’s analysis. The Met can be accessed via major highway interchanges such as Jalan Kuching and Duta-Ulu Klang (DUKE) Highway. Besides using Uber or Grab, you can also commute by train. The nearest station is KTM Segambut and the forthcoming MRT 3 station within KL Metropolis. There will also be feeder bus services and elevated walkways for better connectivity.
