V-Residensi 5 is a 25-storey residential development fronting Jalan Kuching, the main road in Selayang, Gombak. Its service apartment units are oriented along a north-south axis, with the north-facing units enjoying a mountain view, and the rest facing the city. The two lowest levels are occupied by shops, while the third and fourth levels are reserved for parking lots. Resident facilities are situated on the fifth level with the rest of the floors taken up by residential units. Sized at 1,203 sf to 1,683 sf, the 3-bedroom and 3-bathroom apartment units are large enough for families. Moreover, with just 240 units in the entire 1.5-acre development, it is of moderately low density. Despite that, the price per square foot is reasonable, starting from just over RM300 at the time of launching. Two of the bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms, while the living areas and the third bedroom share the other bathroom. For Types A, B and C, the kitchen is designed in an L-shaped configuration, allowing for open-plan living areas. Several main roads lead to V Residensi 5: Jalan Ipoh-Rawang, the Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE), the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) and the KL-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR Expressway). Other than functioning as family homes, the rooms or entire residential units can be rented out to students. This is because the UiTM Medical Faculty (Selayang Campus) is not far away – just a five-minute walk. Adjacent to the campus is Hospital Selayang, which is known for its obstetrics services, as well as for being the first hospital in the world to operate with a fully paperless and filmless system. Amenities near the service apartment include the wholesale market of NSK Trade City, Mydin Supermarket, Selayang Mall, and restaurants, cafes, shops and Malay-medium national schools. The Kuala Lumpur city centre is less than 20km away via Jalan Kuching and Route 1, giving residents access to a wide array of shopping, dining and business options. Thus, with relatively low price tags and an easily-reachable location near areas like Batu Caves, Sentul and Kepong, V-Residensi 5 is a worthwhile property to consider for buyers and investors alike.
