D'Rapport Residences is a high-end resort-style property developed on prime land within Ampang Hilir. The development of condominium homes and commercial shop lots will be situated at the end of the cul-de-sac, Jalan Nipah, where its neighbours include the Korean Embassy and the Gleneagles Hospital.
The development was revived after a hiatus, with a push by new financial backings, and is slated for completion in mid of 2018. Major roads near the development include Jalan Ampang, which connects to KL city in less than 10 minutes (should traffic be smooth). Jalan Ampang also enables access to the Middle Ring Road (MRR2), while the Duta-Ulu Klang Highway (DUKE) and Dato Keramat Toll Plaza entrance to the Kuala-Lumpur-Ampang Elevated Highway (AKLEH) is also just a few minutes’ drive away. However, the downside of living in the area is the frequent traffic jams, though the good news is, construction for an elevated intersection between Jalan Jelatek and Jalan Ampang is ongoing, which may greatly improve the congestion. To add, the RAPID Light Rail Transit (LRT) is also accessible from the development, where residents can take a 15-minute walk to the Jelatek Station. There are also many taxis which can easily be hailed in the area.
