Idaman Lavender 2 is an apartment residence in Sungai Ara, Penang. This is the second of 3 apartments developed by Koperasi Tunas Muda Sungai Ara Bhd in the area, with the others being Idaman Lavender and Idaman Lavender 3.
The 11-storey Idaman Lavender 2 complex houses 176 units, each around 750 sf in built-up area. Facilities available at the property are only a jogging track and children’s playground while 24-hour security is also provided with a card access system at the entrance.
Talks of this development has been abuzz, with many of those working in the Bayan Lepas area attracted by its location not too far from the Bayan Lepas industrial zone. Subsale prices of units begin from RM350,000 which is still rather affordable given the prices of other new high-rise developments around. Rental is also in the mid-range, about RM849 per month.
Amenities are not exactly within walking distance from Idaman Lavender 2, requiring a short drive to the town area where commercial hubs like Sunshine Square and other shop lots offer banks, mini markets, eateries, restaurants, clinics, convenience stores and more. Queensbay Mall is around 10 minutes away as well. The nearest school is SK Seri Relau just down Lilitan Sungai Ara. Other schools are just a few minutes’ drive away, such as SJK (C) Min Sin, the Chung Hwa Secondary School, SRK Sungai Ara, SRJK (C) Chong Cheng and more. To add, the Pantai Mutiara Hospital is about 2km away.
Idaman Lavender 2 is a short distance from Jalan Tun Dr. Awang, which leads to a roundabout eastward from the Sungai Ara town. There, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah can be accessed, where Bayan Lepas is southwards while other towns like Jelutong, Gelugor and the city centre are on the north. From the roundabout, the Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu Expressway is just a few minutes away via the Sungai Nibong Highway, providing an alternate route to Bayan Lepas and Georgetown while also linking to the first Penang bridge.
