Meru Mutiara is a residential precinct in the neighbourhood of Bandar Meru Raya in Ipoh. When the precinct is complete, it will consist of 488 cluster semi-detached homes. The first phase was launched in 2013, and met with excellent response. This is likely due in part to the houses' value-for-money prices, which were as low as just under RM400,000 when they were first launched.

Also considering the size of the houses, with lots of 35' x 75' and built-up areas of 2,200 sf each, it is no wonder that the Meru Mutiara houses are in good demand. Not only do they come with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, separate wet and dry kitchens, and a dressing area in the master bedroom, but there is a study room on the first floor. However, one bathroom was sacrificed to make way for this room, resulting in the two first floor bedrooms having to share one bathroom.

Nevertheless, the Meru Mutiara houses have other plus points, such as their location. Recreational spots like the forest park and Meru Valley Golf & Country Club are nearby, with the former contributing to the tranquil environment of the precinct. Also, the Tenby Schools Ipoh are a few minutes away.

The Meru Raya town centre is also easily accessible, with a Mydin mall for shopping and basic necessities, bank facilities, eateries and many other useful amenities. Connecting to the North-South Expressway (NSE) from Meru Mutiara is simple, with the Ipoh Utara Jelapang exit a short distance away from the precinct. Thus, residents will have no problem getting around Ipoh and to other parts of Perak – when they decide to leave the comfort of their homes, that is.
