Scarlet is a neighbourhood of landed homes located in the Bandar Rimbayu development off Kota Kemuning and Telok Panglima Garang in Selangor. The township boasts comfortable homes amidst nature, along with a great selection of facilities and amenities. Completed in the third quarter of 2016, Scarlet consists of 110 double-storey link homes, in a gated and guarded neighbourhood of landscaped greenery.

The Scarlet homes are contemporarily-designed, though exuding a slight “downtown New York City townhouse” look with elements of exposed red bricks in their facade. The corner or end lot units are even more impressive, with the entire side of the home featuring the brick design, though some homeowners may find it difficult to maintain.

There are 6 variants of the Scarlet homes to choose from, with a range of built-up spaces depending on whether the homes are corner, end lot or intermediate units. Type A and Type D both have built-up sizes of 2,596 sf with 4+2 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Type B and Type E are end-lot units, with sizes of 2,237 sf and 2,342 sf each, followed by Type C which is 2,143 sf and Type F at 2,248 sf, both intermediate units. The intermediate homes are built over 24’ x 70’ plots of land, while the corner and end lot units are on 24’ x 75’ lands.

Encircled by greenery, Scarlet offers serene facilities, such as a flower garden and herb garden where residents can take the time to admire the beauty of flora and fauna in all its natural state. The reflecting canals and planting terraces are also sights to savour, while evening walks along the canopied walkways or resting under the roofed garden are calming ways to wind down from busy days.

Despite its leasehold tenure, the Scarlet homes are worth considering for buyers who are looking for homes which appeal to spaciousness, functionality and great aesthetics. Units were launched at prices of between RM966,800 to RM1.55 million.

Amenities are within reach of Scarlet, with many conveniences like grocery stores, restaurants and more to become available when the commercial component of the Bandar Rimbayu township is completed. Established townships like Telok Panglima Garang, Kota Kemuning, and Bandar Saujana Putra provide a range of existing amenities, mainly schools, banks, supermarkets, petrol stations, and more.

Though its location may seem remote, Scarlet at Bandar Rimbayu in actuality, is highly accessible due to its proximity to a number of highways. Within 35 minutes’ drive of the development are towns like Puchong, Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya and Subang via the Lebuhraya Shah Alam (KESAS) and Lebuhraya Kemuning Shah Alam (LKSA). KL city on the other hand, is about 40 minutes away, while the South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE) links to Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and Kajang, all around 30 to 40 minutes from Scarlet. Access to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and south of the peninsula is also possible, thanks to the Expressway Lingkaran Tengah (ELITE). In the future, accessibility to other western states up north will also be much easier, with the proposed West Coast Expressway (WCE) connecting nearby Banting to Taiping, Perak.
