Taman Desa Jaya is a residential development located in Kepong bordering Selayang, not to be mistaken with Taman Desa Jaya in Tebrau, Johor. It is one of the oldest developments of Kepong, hence refurbishments and renovations are a common occurrence. Some of the common grouses by residents is the daily traffic congestions and the dust from the main roads.
These homes are also located close to two major graveyards, hence traffic tends to get extremely congested within the housing area during the Chinese All Souls Day (Cheng Beng), especially with the neighbourhood’s sole ingress and egress road.
