Taman Pandan in Butterworth, Penang is a mid-range apartment residence which has been around for a number of years. Its age is made apparent by the well-worn facades of peeled paint and water stains on the several blocks of complexes.
Each Taman Pandan complex is 5 storeys in height, with units sized at approximately 850 sf. Residents get to enjoy simple facilities like a swimming pool, wading pool and children’s playground while a parking lot and 24-hour security are also provided.

The rates may be considered rather high given the age and outward appearance of the property. However, this could be due to its location near the Butterworth town centre.

In terms accessibility, Taman Pandan is located about 10 minutes’ walk from Jalan Raja Uda where most commercial hubs are located. Hence, living at Taman Pandan may be better for those who have their own transport. The property is located just off the Butterworth Outer Ring Road, which leads to the town of Seberang Perai southwards along the coast. It then links to the North-South Expressway (NSE) at Seberang Jaya, where access to the first Penang bridge (about 20 minutes away) is possible. The property is also 10 minutes from the Butterworth Ferry Terminal, where cars, motorbikes and passengers can be transported by ferry across the sea to the Penang island.
