Taman Kempas is a residential neighbourhood in Butterworth, mainland Penang, in the district of North Seberang Perai. Found in this neighbourhood is a series of semi-detached houses and a couple of bungalows on roads that bears the Kempas name, such as Jalan Kempas, Jalan Kempas 2, Lorong Kempas 4 and 6. Taman Kempas has interconnected roads to other surrounding neighbourhoods. Residents at Taman Kempas are at walking distance to a children’s playground and football field. Buses run through Jalan Bagan Lallang, which connects to Jalan Kempas, one of the many entries to Taman Kempas. By car it is less than 2 minutes to the Butterworth Outer Ring Road (BORR) to the north, an additional 5 minutes to the North-South Expressway (NSE) to the east and 30 minutes to the Penang Bridge. Found on Jalan Bagan Lallang are amenities such as convenient shops, petrol stations and a mix of commercial and industrial lots.
